Heuchera, also known as coral bells or alumroot, is a genus of perennials with colorful leaves and bell-shaped flowers. They are native to North America and are often used as ground cover in shade gardens. 

Appearance

  • Heuchera plants have colorful leaves that can be green, purple, red, silver, chartreuse, yellow, peach, or copper 

  • The leaves often have contrasting veins that are silver or a darker shade than the main leaf color
